- Install Aura on parent and kid devices.
- Add each family member. Configure their individual safety preferences.
- Set content filters, app time limits, and screen-time schedules.
- Enable identity-theft monitoring (credit report, SSN, breach exposure).

Who should use Aura
Families who want a single subscription for identity monitoring + parental controls + device security. If you only want parental controls, Qustodio was long the cheaper route — but Aura now sells a standalone Kids Plan covering parental controls alone, at a price competitive with Qustodio, so check both before assuming the bundle is your only option. Note too that Aura does not track your child’s location, which parents often assume is in the box — if you want that, you need something else alongside it.
