If you already pay for Norton 360, Family is already included. Here’s the setup.

Setup
- Sign in at family.norton.com with your Norton account.
- Add a child profile.
- Install Norton Family on each child device.
- Configure rules: web categories, time limits, search monitoring, YouTube, location (Android / iOS).
Strong points
- Mature web filter.
- Detailed weekly reports.
- Instant-lock button.
- School-time scheduling.
Weak points
- No native Mac support — it cannot monitor macOS devices at all.
- Web filtering is comparatively easy for a determined child to get around.
- On iOS, several tracking features only work if your child uses the Norton Family browser rather than Safari or Chrome — which is exactly the thing a teenager will stop doing.
- In Norton 360 bundles it appears under the name “Parental Control” rather than Norton Family, which causes a lot of unnecessary searching — the Norton 360 Deluxe feature list calls it exactly that. Norton also notes in the same place that the controls only work if the child’s device has the Norton Family app installed and switched on, so buying the bundle is not the last step.

Do I already have Norton Family?
Only on some plans. Norton says the purchase of Norton 360 Deluxe and Norton 360 Premium includes Norton Family; Norton 360 Standard does not. What is Norton Family good at?
A mature web filter, detailed weekly reports, an instant-lock button, and school-time scheduling. It is a long-established product rather than a new one, and it shows in the filtering.
What are Norton Family's limitations?
No native Mac support, limited iOS features, and a dashboard design that feels dated next to Aura or Qustodio. If your household runs on Macs, it is the wrong choice.
